The one with storage inside right? The goal of a home furnishing designer (at least a good one) is create not only something beautiful but furniture that will serve multiple purposes. For instance the conception of this particular console table is not only to sit behind a couch with lamps on top of it looking pretty but also to provide storage.

I’m sure I’m not the only one who feels this way: I hate carpet. An area rug here and there is one thing, but wall-to-wall carpet throughout the home (with the exception of the kitchen and bathroom, of course) has really started to drive me crazy. Our last place had hardwood floors, and I miss them dearly. We have already made a vow to never move into a place again with carpet. In the meantime, though, I just need to make the best of it and try to make it look as nice as I possibly can.

Furniture Facelift: Becca's Dumpster Headboard

I must be rubbing off on the people around me. My good pal Becca came to me with this headboard she rescued from the garbage truck. It's a little dingy and a little banged up but you'd never know after Becca finished with it! This headboard was just leaning against the dumpster, all but forgotten from society, when Becca came and dragged off scooped up this guy and brought him home. I love happy endings!
