Furniture 101: Tufted cushions

Today I'm all about tufting! I've actually started a tufting project with my mother that we stopped working on a couple a months ago and now it's just sitting in her house taking up space. Mom if you're reading this I promise I'm going to finish it at some point.  I've also been seeing pinterest explode with tufting tutorials and have been tempted to DIY a tufted headboard. So, what is tufting you ask?

I have found myself recently drawn to vintage furniture and I thought it would be fun to educate us all on a special type of love seat called the settee.
