As I near the end of my third month of living in my house I'm slowly beginning to see improvement. Like they always say "one step at a time". The step this week was getting a much needed dining table. While I do my fair share of eating at the coffee table (currently I still don't have one so it's more like eating in my chair) it would be nice to have a big table to spread out on instead of balancing my plates in my lap.
This weekend I got the chance to go to a champagne tasting and it was wonderful! It wasn't quite as beautifully prepared at the image below but it sure has my wheels turning about possibly hosting a beautiful outdoor champagne tasting on my patio....mainly because I found some vintage champagne glasses similarly shaped to the one below last time I went antiquing. I completely heart them! They're probably from the 50's and I just feel so chic when I get the chance to use them. I'm such a nerd.

As you may know I was able to spend most of last week on location with Angelo Surmelis for his video/photo shoot for the next installment of his furniture line for angelo:HOME. While it was tough work and long days, we had a blasty-blast! Or as my girl Deena would say "this was a good time!"
