I picked out my first bed frame when I first moved out of college. It was a black iron frame with a scrolled headboard and foot board. I still have it today, six years later and it's been in as many moves. The bed frame has been very versatile with all the different kinds of decor that I've gone through. However, I still remember when I was picking the frame out that I almost went in a completely different direction. There was this one bed in the showroom that had a white frame with a wicker headboard, and I lurved it. Somehow, my mother managed to talk me out of it and convince me that I would have tired of it. Maybe she would have been right, but maybe not. Since then, I have had a long-standing personal lust for more wicker in my life ever since. So, when I stumbled across a website called The Family Love Tree, that sells mostly wicker furniture, I was so pumped to share some of their pieces with you!
Last week I received this beautiful picture frame from The Zhush, an online store owned by Sue De Chiara. Sue also writes a blog you can frequently find me on (click here to check out her blog) about all things home decor and fashion. *Side note* I sooooo wish I knew enough about fashion to write about it, but alas I must follow the fashion blogs to even begin to know what to wear in the morning. But I digress, the frame I was sent is a brilliant turquoise color and made of a very sturdy hard plastic frame. It comes with a glass inset (not the plasticky kind of picture cover like some places include) so it looks elegant. The frame has a really vintage retro feel in its shape while the bright color keeps it extremely hip and modern.
