This weather here in Dallas is so peaceful right now it makes me just want to redecorate in a soft calming color palette of chocolate browns, pale creams and golds and fun accents of muted lime green. This image was a set for an angelo:HOME collection in shot in Dallas this past summer of one the first phases of his collection.
Fridays oh Fridays, which means I have just made it to payday and I have cash burning a hole in my pocket. That's probably why I post about things I want to buy on Fridays. Plus, I'm feeling extra cheery today which is why I must be feeling a pull towards yellow. Now that I'm looking at this post all I can sing in my head is "Let the sun shin, leeet the sun shine, the suuuun shiiinnne innn!" Haha, you are so lucky you can't hear me!
What's a photo shoot without a little fun? And by fun I mean delirium-induced-madness. Earlier this month I gave you some insight as to how a photo shoot operates (more on that here). We had no less than 15 people on set at any given time, we had photographers and assistants, we had propping assistants, we had people to provide muscle, we had Angelo Surmelis, we had managers and business partners of Angelo Surmelis, we had videographers, we had social media (yours truly), and a couple other odds and ends, we had it all.
As you may know I was able to spend most of last week on location with Angelo Surmelis for his video/photo shoot for the next installment of his furniture line for angelo:HOME. While it was tough work and long days, we had a blasty-blast! Or as my girl Deena would say "this was a good time!"
Angelo Surmelis's second installment to his product line has finally hit the market! I've been awaiting this for at least 6 months now! Not only does he know furniture, he knows people, which I think is equally (if not more) important when you're a designer. He creates furniture for the modern dweller while offering sage space-saving advice and extending his thoughts on home decor. He launched the first half of his collection back in February with Overstock, and now he's launched the second half of his collection and I couldn't be more excited about the new additions! If you have no clue what I'm talking about check out this post, and this post, and maybe this post to get a better idea. Angelo's released four new table collections that I'm thrilled to take you through!
